What Is Diskpart
Diskpart is a command-line disk partitioning utility included in Windows 2000 and later, replacing its predecessor, fdisk. This utility prevents creating multipartition layout for removable media such as flash drives. It is also used for partitioning internal hard drives.
Diskpart has all the features that you can find in Windows Disk Management. However, you can use it to do more. For experienced users, they can deal with disk management with diskpart.exe easily, but if you are not familiar with the command of diskpart, you can type command “help” to list all the available commands.
