When you come to Sharm there is one excursion, which is a must. This is to go and see the wonderful city of Cairo. This is where you get the chance to see one of the last remaining wonders of the world, which of course are the Great pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza.
Whilst on this tour you will also visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the beautiful golden mask of King Tutankhamen and all his treasures as well as many other important artifacts from the history of Egypt.
You will be collected from your hotel at about 1:00 am till 2:00 am, depends on the area of your hotel. as follow:
In a coach with air conditioning. It will take approximately 6 hours to drive to Cairo. Upon arrival, our English-speaking guide, who will join you for your tour in Cairo, will meet you.
You will visit the Egyptian Museum first where you will get a guided tour of the best areas then some free time to explore yourselves. After this you will be taken to have lunch in a restaurant beside the Nile River. And you have a chance to go to the restaurant by felucca on the Nile River, but this chance is optional, if you like to take the felucca you will arrange that with the guide in Cairo. Then you will make a stop at a perfume shop, where they produce many different scents and beautiful perfume bottles.
Following this you will then visit the Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, which are two of the best-known monuments in Egypt and consider the main attractions in Egypt. You will have time to explore the plateau where the pyramids stand and also enter the pyramids (at an extra local charge).
Then you will be taken to the Papyrus Institute, where you will learn how papyrus is made and have the opportunity to purchase some if you desire. You will then make the return trip on the coach back to Sharm, which will take approximately 6 hours and will be returned to your hotel at approximately 11.30pm.
