Apple Safari with a estimated 25% share of all mobile browsing, has going to update with no mmore ads feature. As per a survey for two consecutive years with people using ad blocking mobile applications in their smartphones and generated a report saying that there was more then 70% increment in amount of users having ad blocking apps in the second year. So here is a good news for that group of users who used to download these ad blocking apps. But it goes worse for the entire advertising ecosystem if Apple shuts off 25% of all ads on the web, and the adtech companies will be driven out of business.
“Many consumers cite concerns about privacy, ad annoyance and the like but don’t proactively take-steps to safegaurd themselves until there has been a ‘breach,'” Jennifer Wise, a digital marketing analyst at Forrester Research, said in an email.
