No Option to Create a New Partition in Disk Management – Solved


Nowadays, disk management becomes a common thing, for example, extend partition, shrink partition, create partition and more. For MBR and GPT, most computer users know they are two kinds of disk partition styles. MBR disk can only support up to 2TB hard drive. If the disk uses MBR partition style, the disk space larger than 2TB will show unallocated space. When using it to create a new partition, there will be a failure. But for GPT disk, it can supports 18EB disk maximally. Thus, the best solution is to convert the MBR disk to GPT disk.
