Do you want to copy or transfer some files to an external hard drive or a USB flash drive? Have you experienced an error message, saying “The file xxx is too large for the destination file system”?

As a matter of fact, this issue is very common when transferring a file to a local hard disk or a removable device. Why would you not able to copy a file when there is sufficient free space on your storage device? If you view the error window, you will find the file size is larger than 4GB. To put it simply, this is because of the file system limit. In order to fix this problem, the best way is to change the file system to NTFS.
