Solve "There Is No Disk in the Drive" Issue in Windows 10


When you start the computer, you may receive an error message which reads “there is no disk in the drive, please insert a disk into drive”, as shown below:

According to Microsoft, this error appears if one of the cases is true:
 You have a removable drive configured as drive letter C.
 You do not have a removable disk in the removable disk drive.

In short, this error comes from a removable disk. By reading the error message carefully, you will be able to confirm which removable disk is arousing the issue.

Kind reminds: the removable disk here includes external hard drives, USB drives, floppy disk drives, optical drives and USB multi-card readers.
