Unprotected Oral Sex Linked to Oropharyngeal Cancer, Study Finds


Oral sex is a common form of sexual activity which stimulate the partner’s genitals area using the mouth, lips or tongue. It can be a lot of fun, but oral sex comes with a risk of oropharyngeal cancer. Oropharyngeal cancer is a type of throat cancer that develops in the tissues of the oropharynx (the middle part of the throat that includes the soft palate, the base of the tongue and tonsils).
