The exercise was carried out in collaboration with Hari Mitti Foundation which aims to facilitate all-round urban and rural welfare under its wide umbrella of activities.

71 thousand saplings will be planted in schools on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav 1 year 26 weeks ago

On Friday, September 17, on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, 71 thousand saplings will be planted in the schools of the state. Minister of State for School Education, Shri Inder Singh Parmar informed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, one sapling would be planted in every school of the state to reduce air pollution and for protection and conservation of environment. Every effort will be made to protect the plants. Along with this, the photo of the planted sapling will be uploaded in the 'Vayudoot Ankur' app.

Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami informed that the plantation programme will be conducted in schools by the School Management and Development Committee or School Management Committee. Schools which have a boundary wall or a faced campus will be preferred for plantation. Plants of local varieties will be planted and every effort will be made to ensure the safety of the plants with tree guards etc. In this regard, instructions have been issued to the collectors of all the districts and the concerned department.

Kolkata to Korea: CDE exports its patented C&D Waste Recycling machine to South Korea 1 year 30 weeks ago

CDE Asia completed its manufacturing of the ReUrban D5100 C&D Waste Processing plant which will be exported to Korea next week.

The flag-off ceremony of this export consignment was done by Mr. Debashis Sen – Chairman HIDCO / NDITA & Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of West Bengal. Later Mr. Sen posted “Huge Machines manufactured in Kolkata exported to Korea, Japan and other places in the country. Machines called ReUrban that converts C&D (construction & demolition) waste into sand and stone chips. Thus, it saves mountains(stones) and rivers (sand). The perfect example of a circular economy. The only manufacturing outside of the UK is in Kolkata. Factory at Dhulagarh where I went this morning. I felt proud of Bengal when I was cutting the machine’s ribbon that will be shipped in containers to Korea from Kolkata Port next week’’.
