He further said in his statement – After the match, he had an emergency X RAY in Delhi which confirmed a fracture in the left PIP joint. Recovery is expected in 3 to 4 weeks. He left for Bangladesh on 6 November to begin his rehabilitation. Shakib Al Hasan played a match-winning inning of 82 runs in 65 balls with the help of 12 fours and 2 sixes and led his team to a 3-wicket win over Sri Lanka.
