Baba Raghav Das Medical College also known as BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur is one of North India’s oldest government hospitals and colleges is located in Gorakhpur. It was founded in 1972. The college is associated with Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur and has been approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college is administered by the state government. This college is only tertiary serving care hospital which caters the needs of around 15 surrounding districts. The total area of BRD Medical college is around 147.6 acres.
